When asked about his motivations for becoming an attorney, Mr. Oreskovich credits a relative who inspired him to go to law school and then to get involved in litigation:
I had a relative who was an attorney that encouraged me to be a lawyer. I followed his advice. He was a trial lawyer, so once I graduated from law school, I was able to get some experience in the courtroom alongside him, and I just got addicted to the experience.
After graduating magna cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from Seattle University, Mr. Oreskovich was accepted to the University of Montana, where he graduated with honors and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1976. Over the ensuing decades, he developed a solid reputation as a fierce and aggressive litigator that clients could trust to advocate for them in a stressful courtroom setting.
Before joining Etter, McMahon, Mr. Oreskovich was a partner at prestigious Pacific Northwest firms including Hemovich, Nappi, Oreskovich, and Butler, and then Holden and Oreskovich. In 2007, he joined his current firm where over the past eleven years he has contributed to its reputation for excellent, comprehensive client service and unmatched legal acumen.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Oreskovich is an avid hunter and fisherman.
