Having lived in Arizona for over thirty years, Carol Campbell is a leading expert in residential real estate throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Working as a REALTOR® in Coldwell Banker’s Scottsdale brokerage, Carol is dedicated to positioning her clients for success by skillfully helping them navigate the complex process of selling or buying a home.
Though she began her career in real estate just three years ago, Carol was a successful business owner before her entry into the industry. Looking back, she recalls her motivation for making the switch:
I worked in interior design for nine years before taking a leave from the work force, and it was fun for a while. But I eventually realized that I love working, and I wanted to get back to work. Real estate had always intrigued me, so I decided to get my Arizona Realtor license.
Since making the transition, Carol has proven to be a natural at real estate. With her background in business, Carol provides clients with a steady hand throughout the process of buying or selling a home. She said:
It can be very daunting so I educate my clients on how it all works, and I bring a certain level of calm to the transaction. My passion and drive is to make the buying and selling process as stress-free as possible for each of my clients. I think that’s just one thing that sets me apart from the rest.
Meanwhile, as a former interior designer, Carol can provide sellers with a unique set of services in the staging process as well as a critical eye for those wanting to refurbish their home before putting it up for sale.
Living in what has become one of the most lucrative retirement locations in the country, where golf courses abound, Carol has furthered her education by taking classes to learn the ins and outs of buying and selling golf course properties—everything her clients need to know—for example, who owns the golf course, if they will automatically belong to the club, water issues, and more. Additionally, Carol places a strong emphasis on serving an older clientele. She has even taken it upon herself to undergo further training to educate herself on the common issues that we face when pursuing our real estate goals. She notes:
I frequently work with people who have been living in their homes for thirty, maybe forty years. People find themselves widowed or going through a divorce; it can be extremely stressful to decide whether to keep your home or to sell it and downsize. Very often they don't have the information they need to make an informed decision, so I try to give them the tools that they need to make an informed decision.
Carol has primarily built her success on trustworthiness and integrity. In her three years working as a Realtor, she has already developed a reputation for her dedication to going above and beyond customer expectations to provide an exceptional real estate experience to every person she works with. Passionate about helping her clients achieve their real estate goals, she hopes to continue building on that reputation for many years to come. She likes to say, “where your search ends an home begins!”
Carol is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) as well as the Women's Council of REALTORS®, Phoenix chapter, where she currently serves as treasurer. Outside of work, she is a member of PEO, an international women’s nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the education of women. Additionally, she is a life member of Childhelp Wings, a fundraising arm of Childhelp, an organization that helps children who have been the victims of abuse.
