Christian C. Creed is a distinguished lawyer in the field of personal injury law based in Monroe and Alexandria, Louisiana. Recognized as a top attorney by the American Society of Legal Advocates, the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, Super Lawyers Magazine, and the Global Directory of Who’s Who, among others, Mr. Creed has litigated numerous noteworthy cases over the course of his twenty-two-year career. He is a Co-Founder and Partner with Creed & Creed where his firm offers clients in Monroe, Bastrop, Columbia, Alexandria, Rayville, Winnsboro, Delhi, Tallulah, Winnfield, Grambling, and Ruston the best possible legal representation in personal injury law.
As he tells, Mr. Creed’s decision to go into law was a natural one:
I had worked in government when I was in college for the state legislature and the United States senate. I was also involved in student government as the President of student body at LSU so I was interested in law and politics for most of my college career. It seemed that the practice of law would be a good fit.
After graduating from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Mr. Creed worked as an accident investigator and insurance adjuster for almost ten years before deciding to go to law school. He worked primarily for personal injury attorneys, helping them gather evidence and develop cases. Once Mr. Creed made the decision to continue in the personal injury field as an attorney, he enrolled in Loyola University New Orleans School of Law to obtain his Juris Doctor. He founded Creed & Creed with his wife, Catherine, in 1995.
As a former insurance adjuster and licensed accident investigator, Mr. Creed understands the inner workings of insurance companies, and he is committed to using this insider knowledge to get his clients the compensation they deserve. Today, Mr. Creed represents all victims of personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, offshore accidents, industrial and railroad accidents, products liability, animal attacks, wrongful death, and medical malpractice, whether it is a minor incident or a fatal one. In addition to his expertise as a personal injury attorney, Mr. Creed also practices admiralty law, finance and banking law, collection law, real estate law, family law, successions law, and social security disability claims law.
As a leader in his field, Mr. Creed keeps his finger on the pulse of prevailing trends within personal injury law. In particular, he notes that he currently has his eye on the advent of driverless cars:
Most of the cases we handle are automobile accidents and big rig accidents. We do some off shore work, but the evolution of driverless cars certainly has my attention. I think we have a little bit of time, but it'll be interesting to see how that affects the industry.
Mr. Creed’s successful career has not gone unnoticed; he has earned recognition by many prestigious organizations, including Best of the Delta, the American Society of Legal Advocates, and Super Lawyer Magazine, among many others. He has litigated in many notable cases, including Davis vs Foremost Dairies et al., Bradley v. Theus, and Underwood v. Rollins. Mr. Creed is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Fourth Judicial District Bar Association, the Alexandria, New Orleans, Louisiana State, Federal, and American Bar Associations, the American and Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
After more than two decades dedicated to personal injury law, Mr. Creed shows no signs of slowing down. Over the next several years, he anticipates expanding his firm while continuing to offer his clients exceptional service which has made his firm one of Louisiana's premier personal injury law firms.
