An immigrant to the United States, Ms. Tram was the first in her family to attend college, graduating from Cal Poly Pomona University with a degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management, Ms. Tram interned at a hotel before realizing that management was not the right career path for her. With her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer as motivation, Ms. Tram enrolled in Western State University College of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 1993. She spent the first fifteen years of her career gaining valuable legal experience in a wide variety of cases before founding her private practice, The Law Offices of Lien T. Tram, in 2008.
