With fifteen years of experience in real estate, Lisa Stevens is the founder, broker, and CEO of Vibrant Realty in Burnsville, Minnesota. Widely recognized as an eminent real estate professional, Lisa is known throughout the Twin Cities area for her unmatched commitment to client satisfaction. She has been recognized for her determination and skill with a multitude of awards and honors, including a feature in Top Agent Magazine in January of 2017.
Before setting the real estate world on its head, Lisa had a long and successful career in the engineering industry. After moving to a new area, Lisa embraced a lifelong interest in real estate. As she tells it:
My husband and I moved, and I decided I wanted to pursue a career where I would be more in control of my time and my finances, and not so dependent on other people. I decided I really wanted to try something new, and I had always been interested in real estate. It turned out to be a perfect fit!
Lisa got her real estate license and spent the next several years gaining valuable experience in a wide variety of positions, including as an agent for Century 21® and as a relocation director for RES Realty. During this time she developed a particular knack for short sales, and founded Short Sale Queens, LLC, to help other agents process their short sales as efficiently as possible. Lisa also became known for her absolute determination to find the perfect home for each of her clients and won many awards for top sales, including being recognized as a "Super Agent" starting in 2006.
In 2013, Lisa struck out on her own, founding Vibrant Realty in Burnsville. Today, Lisa runs a thirty-agent team, focusing on residential sales, new construction, and property management. Listed among Minnesota’s Top Ten Agents for Client Satisfaction, Lisa finds time to contribute to her local and professional community as well. She is an active member of the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors and works with local charities including Kids ‘n Kinship and Better Communities. Committed to bettering the community it serves, Vibrant Realty gives up to 1 percent of its profits back to local nonprofits.
As an integral part of her community and a leader in her industry, Lisa pays careful attention to trends and developments in the Twin Cities area real estate market. She has noted a recent increase in housing prices, along with a new population of first-time homebuyers:
There’s a lot of new construction, and values of homes have increased twenty to thirty percent. I also work with a lot of first-time homebuyers, and I’ve noticed that they do their due diligence online. They want someone who has experience, but they also want to be more involved in the transaction, which is great, because it means I get to educate the clients, and that’s what I love to do.
Looking forward, Lisa plans to continue educating and serving her clients and community, including continuing to expand Vibrant Realty throughout Minnesota and even into Wisconsin. Outside of work, Lisa has a husband and five children and loves organic farming and healthy living.
