So right away I was meeting with clients; I was thrown into the deep end, and that was an invaluable experience.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri in 2008, Mr. Cox enrolled at the Illinois Institute of Technology's Chicago Kent College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2011 and completed an internship at the Community Tax Clinic. It is extremely important to keep a close eye on the budget—particularly these days, as it is in flux. The state budget can significantly affect many of our clients, particularly those in healthcare and those involved with charity work. I make sure to educate myself on these matters so I can provide the best possible advice to my clients.
