Ricky A. Palladino is a distinguished attorney based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With nearly a decade dedicated to immigration law, he is one of the most prominent attorneys in his field. Mr. Palladino is a partner of the law firm Solow, Isbell & Palladino, LLC, where he focuses on all aspects of immigration law, including removal defense, family based immigration, asylum and refugee requests, and naturalization.
Mr. Palladino knew from a young age that he wanted to go into law, but he first became interested in immigration law during an internship with the Immigration and Naturalization Service which he completed as an undergraduate at La Salle University. At the INS (now called the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services), he realized studying immigration law would enable him to help one of the most marginalized groups of people in the United States: immigrants.
I got an internship when I was in college with the Immigration Service, which was then called the INS. That was my introduction to immigration law. I learned about how the government works as it relates to immigration, and then decided that I wanted to be on the other side, representing foreign nationals, because I felt it was more rewarding and more intrinsically valuable to be helping people in a vulnerable position."
After graduating from La Salle University, Mr. Palladino went on to the University of Dayton School of Law. In his final year of law school, he returned to Philadelphia to Temple Law School as a visiting student where he won a Barrister’s Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Palladino remained in Philadelphia, where his career has taken a meteoric rise. In 2012, Mr. Palladino co-founded the firm Solow, Isbell, & Palladino. There he handles all kinds of immigration cases and has appeared in numerous Immigration Courts and USCIS offices across the country. While his practice is centered in Philadelphia, he has a significant following in New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Baltimore, Maryland.
As a leader in his field, Mr. Palladino has received numerous awards and recognitions over the course of his career, including being recognized as a Super Lawyer and a Rising Star by Philadelphia Magazine from 2012 through 2015. He regularly travels the country and the world lecturing on immigration law topics. He has given Continuing Legal Education training seminars to fellow lawyers hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association and LawReviewCle, and delivered numerous immigration seminars to organizations.
While many attorneys focus on immigration law, what sets Mr. Palladino apart from his peers is his genuine passion for helping new immigrants become legalized in this country. He loves meeting individuals from all over the world and aims to foster relationships with his clients that go beyond the parameters of immigration law. Mr. Palladino thoroughly enjoys being an immigration lawyer and brings his pride and zeal for his job into every case.
I am so thankful that I chose a career that allows me to meet fascinating people from all over the world. I am so humbled by the trust that people bestow upon me and I work diligently to make sure that I exceed my clients' expectations."
After a decade as an attorney, Mr. Palladino envisions a bright future for himself and his firm. In the coming years, he hopes to maintain his firm’s burgeoning clientele and continue to offer his clients the most effective and compassionate service possible.
