Tim Hendrix is a highly sought-after attorney based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. With over a decade of experience and a diverse skill set spanning criminal defense, including DUI defense, and all aspects of family law, Mr. Hendrix has established himself as a steadfast advocate his community can trust. In recognition of his dedication to his clients, Mr. Hendrix has been featured on Avvo as an “Excellent” attorney in the areas of family law, child custody, criminal defense, and car accidents.
From a young age, Mr. Hendrix was interested in helping those around him. After studying religion and English at Western Kentucky University, he very nearly enrolled in seminary school. As he tells it:
I’ve always liked to argue for what was right. I actually grew up very religious, and I had planned to go to seminary school, but I decided that rather than being a minister, law might be a better fit. Maybe because I was almost a minister, I’ve always been very community-minded in my work.
With a newfound determination to be an attorney, Mr. Hendrix was accepted to Rutgers School of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2006. For the next five years, he worked in the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy, and then as an Intake Supervisor at Hughes and Coleman. His early career years, during which he handled thousands of cases, gave Mr. Hendrix valuable exposure to a diverse range of legal issues and further solidified his commitment to supporting the varied needs of his community. In 2014, Mr. Hendrix founded his private practice, Tim Hendrix Law.
Today, clients from all over Western and Southern Kentucky seek Mr. Hendrix’s assistance based on his diverse skill set and reputation for being able to handle any case that comes his way. However, it is the genuine dedication to helping people that motivated Mr. Hendrix to pursue a career in law nearly fifteen years ago which continues to set him apart from his peers today. He prides himself on providing each of his clients with personalized service, timely communication, and thoughtful legal strategies. In 2017, he was recognized for his compassionate and competent client service with an Avvo ‘Client’s Choice’ award.
In constant pursuit of knowledge and in order to continue providing his clients with the unmatched service they have come to expect, Mr. Hendrix pays careful attention to trends and changes within his areas of specialty. He notes:
For criminal law, I have noticed a big shift toward the burden of proof being on the defendant, through legislation and also through our media structure. And family law is always changing, so a big part of our work is keeping pace with the ever-evolving family structure, so that we can serve every kind of family that walks through our doors.
With hopes to expand his practice, adding satellite offices throughout Kentucky over the next several years, Mr. Hendrix shows no signs of slowing down. After over a decade of dedication to his community, Mr. Hendrix looks forward to many successful years ahead.
